About Us

It started out as a saga of a troubled mother who wanted to chronicle her daughter’s 2 years of mischief and annoying habits. I told my friends about her brat and troublesome activities (which surprisingly made them fall off laughing). It led me to write about them and eventually turned into new moms support system MOTHERSPOINT.

I am a breastfeeding mama, a practising Chartered Accountant by day and blogger by night. Born and brought up in the narrow and close-knit lanes of Amritsar, I was a favourite of my teachers and am still thankful to them for curating many aspects of my personality especially my ability to interact and connect with people.

My passion for connecting to peers through ink further took a flight when this small-town girl moved to New Delhi, India for graduation in commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce.

But corporate world soon took over and career was rocketing with auditing in Deloitte and then founding a leading firm into FDI consultation.

But life had totally rock and roll plans with the incoming of my daughter Priaana in 2018. With a C-section gone wrong, breastfeeding issues motherhood became the toughest challenge of my life.

Being the first in my friends to have a baby, I felt so lonely to share my problems. While my concerns were runny poop, theirs were boyfriend issues. I felt the need to bond over this stage of life. Where are my fellow moms and how do they deal with these problems.

So working in nap times and after bed-time, I started reaching out to moms and realized why not create new moms support.

Let all the new moms come together at one point and connect. Let’s act as a team to tackle these small explosive pockets at  Motherspoint.
